The Egyptian ambassador to Morocco reveals the latest preparations for the African final between Al-Ahly and Kaizer Chiefs

Ashraf Ibrahim, the Egyptian ambassador to Morocco, revealed the latest arrangements in Morocco's preparations to host the African Champions League final between Al-Ahly and Kaizer Chiefs, which is scheduled to be held next Saturday.

The Egyptian ambassador said in statements to the “Be On Time” program: “Everything is going well, and I visited the mission yesterday, and I did not find any crises, the morale is very high and the players are focused on the match, all the details have been discussed for a long time with Al-Ahly and the Moroccan side, and there is no public presence.” Only the two official missions.

He added: There is interest from the Moroccan press in the African final match, and they are interested in the success of the event hosted by their country, and the absence of a Moroccan team is clearly different in interest, but there is support for Al-Ahly because it is an Arab team on the one hand, and because Kaizer was a reason for the exit of Wydad on the other hand.

The first football team in Al-Ahly Club conducted a smear this morning, Thursday, at the team’s residence in Morocco, as part of the precautionary measures to prevent the Corona virus, before the African final against the South African Kaizer Chiefs.

Members of the Al-Ahly club delegation are subject to the smear according to the instructions of the Confederation of African Football “K” 48 hours before the match.

Al-Ahly is preparing for the Kaizer Chiefs match, scheduled for next Saturday at nine o'clock, Cairo time, eight o'clock Morocco time, at Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca, Morocco, in the final of the African Champions League.
