Head of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council: There are no differences between the regular forces

The Chairman of the Sovereignty Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, said that the armed forces and the Rapid Support Forces are at the heart of one man, stressing that there are no differences between the regular forces, which are lined up like a solid structure, in the service of the country.

This came during Al-Burhan’s congratulations to the employees of the Rapid Support Forces at its headquarters in Khartoum on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha, in the presence of the First Vice-President of the Sovereignty Council, Commander of the Rapid Support Forces, Lieutenant-General Muhammad Hamdan Daglo, Member of the Sovereign Council, Lieutenant-General Shams Al-Din Kabbashi, and Chief of Staff Lieutenant-General Muhammad Hamdan. Othman Al-Hussein and Director of the General Intelligence Service, Lieutenant General Jamal Abdul-Majid.

Lieutenant-General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan affirmed the cohesion of the components of the regular agencies, in order to stabilize and protect Sudan.

He added: "Our strength is in our unity, and the army and rapid support are one entity," stressing the commitment of the regular forces in their various formations to maintaining security and stability and securing the transitional phase to reach the desired democratic transformation.
