The countdown to "Euro 2020" .. 5 consecutive victories set a record for the Czech Republic, France and the Netherlands

Five days remain until the start of the next edition of the European Nations Cup "Euro 2020", which will be held from June 11 to July 11.

Italy and its Turkish counterpart cut the ribbon of the championship with the opening match, which will be held at nine in the evening, Friday, June 11, at the "Olympico" stadium in the Italian capital, "Rome", in the first group competitions.

5 days before the launch of the 16th edition of the European Nations "Euro 2020", in the following report, we review the most prominent numbers and statistics of the tournament.

5 consecutive victories achieved by 3 teams in different versions of the Euro, to set the best record in the consecutive victory in the history of the European Nations Cup, and came as follows:

The French national team has achieved 5 consecutive victories, starting with a 1–0 victory over Denmark (1984) to a 2–0 victory over Spain (1984).

The Netherlands national team has achieved 5 consecutive victories, starting from a 1-3 victory against England in the 1988 edition to a 1-0 victory over Scotland in the 1992 edition.

The Czech team won 5 consecutive matches, starting with a 2–0 victory over Denmark in the 2000 edition, to a 3–0 victory against Denmark as well (2004).

The European Nations Cup "Euro 2020" will start next Friday, in 11 European cities, and will last for a whole month, with the participation of 24 European teams, for the second time that this number of teams is present after the previous tournament "Euro 2016" in France.

The European Championship was supposed to be held in the summer of last year, but it was postponed for the current year due to the crisis of the Corona virus pandemic.
