Sameh El-Dahan runner-up in the Equestrian Grand Prix and a candidate to qualify for Tokyo

The jockey, Sameh Al-Dahan, won the second place in the Grand Prix match in the Paris Tour of the Longines Global Tour Show Jumping Championship, which witnesses the participation of the best and most famous jockeys in the world.


 Al-Dahhan finished runner-up behind the famous English jockey Bin Maher, achieving a time of 38.45 seconds in the differentiation round and with four errors, to achieve a very impressive result among this group of international knights in the recently concluded Paris Tour .


Sameh Al-Dahan excelled in the Grand Prix match and finished the first round of it without errors. In the Paris tour 3 years ago, had it not been for him to drop one of the obstacles with the horse "Amaze Mo" to be satisfied with the runner-up and crowned the silver medal, and the third was the English jockey Judy Hall McAteer.


The grand prize in the same round witnessed the participation of the jockey Nael Nassar, who came in seventh place in the general arrangement.


On the other hand, Sameh El-Dahan and Nael Nassar are among the jockeys nominated to represent Egypt in the showjumping competitions at the Tokyo Olympics next month, along with Abdel Qader Saeed, Mohamed Taher Ziada and Mohamed Tarek Talaat Mostafa. Only 4 riders will be selected (3 mains and a reserve rider). to travel to Tokyo.
