Ramos' material demands keep him away from Milan

Spanish press reports revealed that former Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos had been in contact with Milan for the last period, but the talks were soon canceled due to his wage demands.

And the Spanish “El Chiringuito” program stated that negotiations began between the defender, who is leaving Real Madrid as a free player, and the Rossoneri, and that there was an initial meeting that brought them together two weeks ago, but soon the interest in including him faded.

Milan is trying to maintain the stability of the locker room with regard to low salaries, so the amount of 15 million euros per season on a two-year contract, in addition to a registration fee of up to 20 million euros, Milan considered great conditions from the former royal captain.

The Italian side recently paid €28.5 million to buy Fikayo Tomori from Chelsea after a six-month loan, so Ramos won't even be guaranteed to play.

Real Madrid announced the dispensation of Sergio Ramos after a long career for the Spaniard with Real Madrid, after he failed to reach an agreement with the Real Madrid administration to renew his contract with the club, because of his desire to obtain a contract for two seasons, in return the club offered a contract for one season.

Ramos participated in 21 matches with Real Madrid last season in all competitions, scoring 4 goals and making one goal.
