The Security Media Cell in Iraq said, on Friday, that the security forces in the West Nineveh Operations Command, northern Iraq, seized 5 Krad-type missiles, with 5 launch bases inside a wheel.

It is noteworthy that, the Directorate of Explosive Control in the Iraqi province of Anbar announced that 16 explosive devices had been found in the province in the west of the country.

The directorate stated - in a statement reported by the Iraqi Alsumaria news channel today - that "after receiving a call to explosive control experts stating that there were strange objects in the Dulab area of Al-Baghdadi district in Anbar Governorate, a specialized team immediately went to the area to take all measures." necessary regarding this.

The statement added that anti-explosives experts were able to dismantle 16 homemade explosive devices left behind by terrorist organizations, amid record procedures in Anbar Governorate, western Iraq.

Last Thursday, the Military Intelligence Directorate of the Iraqi Ministry of Defense announced the seizure of a quantity of mines, improvised explosive devices and tools used in detonation in Anbar Governorate, located in the west of the country.

This comes at a time when the Iraqi security forces continue to carry out inspections, purification and pursuit of the remnants of the terrorist "ISIS" throughout the country, to ensure that the organization does not re-emerge in the country.

In December 2017, Iraq announced the liberation of its entire territory from the grip of ISIS (the terrorist and banned in Russia and a large number of countries), after about three and a half years of confrontations with the terrorist organization, which occupied about a third of the country.
