The Egyptian Stock Exchange fines the Mansoura Poultry Company 10 thousand pounds for violating the registration rules


The Egyptian Stock Exchange Registration Committee decided, in its session held yesterday, Tuesday, to impose a financial commitment on the Mansoura Poultry Company of 10 thousand pounds, to be paid within 15 days from the date of the company being notified of the decision of the registration committee and that the company's position shall be re-presented to the registration committee in the event of non-compliance with the end of the period granted to the company This is due to the company's violation of the provisions of Article 6 of the Securities Registration and Deletion Rules.

 

The Registration Committee also decided to alert 5 companies to take into account the provisions of Article 31 of the rules for the registration and delisting of securities and Article 45 of the executive procedures for the rules for the registration and delisting of securities in the future. They are South Valley Cement, Nile City Investment, Al Ezz Ceramics and Porcelain - Al Jawhara, Egyptian Chemical Industries - Kima, Orascom Investment Holding.

 

Article 31 of the listing rules stipulates that the company for which securities are registered on the Egyptian Stock Exchange shall be obligated to provide the Authority and the Stock Exchange with the decisions of the Ordinary and Extraordinary General Assembly immediately upon its completion and no later than before the start of the first trading session following the end of the meeting. The general assembly convenes with the minutes, provided that they are approved by the Chairman of the Board of Directors.

 

This is provided that the company is obligated to provide the Stock Exchange with the minutes of the General Assembly meetings approved by the competent administrative authority, within a period not exceeding 3 working days from the date of their receipt, and the Stock Exchange shall publish the decisions and minutes previously referred to as soon as they are received on the trading screens and on the website of the Stock Exchange.
