Aboul Gheit offers condolences to Iraq for the victims of the Ibn Al-Khatib hospital fire

Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, sent a message of condolences to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iraq, Fuad Hussein, to express condolences for the victims of the Ibn al-Khatib Hospital accident in Baghdad.


The General Secretariat of the Arab League stated - in a statement today, Sunday, that Aboul Gheit sent a telegram of condolences to Fuad Hussein, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Iraq, where he expressed his sincere condolences to all the Iraqi people over the fall of a number of victims after a fire broke out in Ibn al-Khatib Hospital in Baghdad, praying to God To provide them with mercy and forgiveness, and to protect Iraq and its people from all harm.


About 82 people were killed, and 110 others were injured as a result of a fire in the hospital after the explosion of oxygen tubes.
